Our Green Business Practices
Recycle, recycle, recycle! All our carpet and excess waste is brought back to our offices to be recycled! 25 tons of waste are recycled each month, keeping them out of our landfills. In addition, we provide Habitat for Humanity with all unsold, discontinued products, to support the construction of their volunteer housing. We strongly believe in preventing product waste and do our utmost to recycle or distribute material.
Green Practice - Mission
Materials used in construction and demolition (C&D) are the scraps left behind after constructing, remodeling, or demolishing a building, a road, or a bridge. In order to prevent mining and processing virgin materials, the EPA recommends a Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) strategy that classifies some C&D materials as commodities that can be used in new construction projects. Our mission is to do what we can to reduce the amount of material ending up in landfills!
Donation - Vision
If the product is unused and to good to be recycle, we will donate it! We do not want to see great product go to waste. Once a product is discontinued and our sites have no more use for it, we will donate to some who with have great use for it.
